Upload Transactions with a CSV
Uploading transactions to Integral using a CSV file is a fast and easy way to update your crypto transactions when an API or direct chain support is not available. Follow the three steps below to uplo
Step 1: Create a new Wallet/Account
Export Transactions to a CSV File: The first step is to export your transactions from your crypto exchange, custodian, or blockchain explorer of choice. Look for an option to export your transactions to a CSV or Excel file. Save the file to your computer, and give it a meaningful name that gives context on its contents (this will be useful in the CSV upload history page).
Open the Wallets page in Integral: Navigate to the Wallets page in Integral, and click on
“Add Wallet”in the top-right corner.Create an account using a CSV: From the Add Wallet page, scroll to the bottom and select “Create a custom account using a CSV”.
Step 2: Add your transactions using the Integral template
Download the Integral CSV template: Integral uses two different templates: one for Deposits & Withdrawals, another for Token Swaps/Exchanges. You can get the templates from the CSV Importer page, or from the “Things you need to get started” block above.
Copy your data into the template: You need to copy the data into the Integral template for a successful import. Simply fill in the fields with the relevant information. Some notes on formatting:
Dates, Amounts, Amount Token are required fields. All other fields are optional.
Withdrawals require a (-) sign before the number to indicate it is a withdrawal.
Select the CSV File: Drag & Drop your completed template CSV into the main view, or select “browse” to upload it manually. If you clicked “browse”, a pop-up window will appear, prompting you to select the CSV file you want to upload. Click on the file and select "Open". Once the file has been added, click “Preview” in the bottom right corner.
Review your data: Review the transaction preview in detail to make sure that the data is uploaded correctly. If it looks good, click “Sync”.
If there are any issues with the data, click “back” to cancel the upload. Adjust your CSV with the required edits, and do the previous step once again.
Step #3: Upload and review your new transactions
Review your uploaded transactions: Once the transactions have been imported, navigate to the Bookkeeping page. Here, click on the “All” tab and filter for your new wallet. Check that all your transactions are reconciled correctly. You can make changes to your data from the History page.
Manage your CSV wallet: Scroll to the bottom of the Treasury page to see your list of Wallets. Any account uploaded via CSV will have an Integral icon, and a
:button all the way on the right. Click on the:for options to upload more transaction (follow the same steps above), or view your history.Manage your upload history: From the wallet’s history page, you can see all the CSV files that have been uploaded.
That's it! Uploading your transactions using a CSV file is a simple process that can save you time and effort. If you use a chain or exchange that Integral does not yet support, let us know by sending a note to help@integral.xyzand make sure it’s on our roadmap!
